The unemployment rate rises in March 2009 to 219 persons to 3.4%

(Canton of Solothurn) - In March 2009, the number of registered unemployed in the canton of Solothurn over the previous month by 219 to 4'532 (4,313) have increased people. The unemployment rate rose from 3.2% to 3.4%. The number of job seekers is 6'352 (6'025) and is thus an increase of 327 persons than in the previous month. The job-seekers ratio rose to 4.8% (4.5%). The increase is primarily cyclical in nature.
