(Paul-Georg Meister) The southern part of Lindenstrasse will now not renamed Park Street Theater and the old cedar at the Breitling is placed under protection. These two decisions, which rendered the Grenchen council at its last meeting. With a forward motion of the council, the city Bureau to find, given the rising unemployment, a solution that is jobless residents in allows to investigate the stamp duty in Grenchen. At present, namely, they must travel to each of Solothurn to comply with those obligations.

By the time the motion was adopted unanimously, however, there was some discussion. Because some councilors a letter from the competent cantonal authority had not received the motion, they pointed back at first, but then were prepared, having read the letter to enter not only the motion, but also agree to this.
As this celebration is to be implemented, however, is not yet clear. The canton has signaled no willingness to engage on such a claim. In their view, the path from Grenchen to Solothurn for the approximately 500 affected individuals was reasonable.

Although the majority of the Council decided on the complaints of individuals and engage the firm Fortis Uhren AG, which required a cost share of the community for their machinations in connection with the renaming of streets, not for legal reasons. At the request of the Mayor, a renaming of the southern part of the Park Theater in Lindenstrasse losing street, but a parting of the minds. Thus, the final vote was taken at a stalemate (6: 6 votes), which decided the mayor and his Stichentschied in favor of his proposal.
There was agreement in the Council again at the requested protection assignment of the old cedar at the Moosstrasse. After the company had used breitling for the protection of the tree and also from the SBB, no objections were raised against it, the Council agreed to this request unanimously.
